Join Jennifer on a hike to Bear Creek as we deeply connect to the element of earth in each step we take, receiving the strength, stability, and grounding energy that the earth offers. We will engage in a grounding practice of yoga, breath, and movement to further connect to the earth and bring the earth's energy into our bodies, minds, and souls, feeling one with all and the joyful spirit of nature.

Difficulty: Easy
Distance: 1.5 miles
Elevation Gain: very little
Time: Approx.1.5-2 hours - Keep in mind that this hike starts and ends in the Town of Telluride, which requires a 15-minute gondola ride back to the Town of Mountain Village. This hike will not end in time to make it to a 10 am class.
Disclaimer: Hiking at 9,000 ft requires a base level of cardiovascular fitness and is not for the "faint of heart." Be sure to hydrate appropriately and note the difficulty of the hike for the best and safest experience.

Take your yoga practice on the water at Elk Lake. During our yoga practice, we'll soak up views of the San Juan mountains and those Colorado bluebird skies above.

This practice will mimic the slow cycles of the growth of a crystal and how water mirrors the beauty of the unfolding harmony with the earth. This is a Yin practice on water. We will focus on our shoulders and hips. Poses will be held anywhere from 3-5 mins while at the same time connecting breath with the body, mind, and soul. We will end class with the sounds of nature as it floats us off into whimsical peace.

Set against the backdrop of one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world, this class is the perfect way to wind down your day of yoga. With a clear intention, evening chanting, an invigorating and cleansing asana, and meditation, this is a time to gather with old and new friends. Karl will amplify this nature-inspired practice with creative interpretations of standing asanas combined with dynamic group interactive movements. All are welcome. You won't want to miss it.
